The prophesying guitarist Jonathan Dubose Jr.

Jonathan DuBose, Jr's talent has been immortalized, recorded and showcased with some of the worlds greatest legends in the 20th century. His start in the music business began at the early age of 8, with his father Jonathan Sr. quartet group, "The Sensational Starlight's of Bridgeport CT." 

Jonathan received recognition during a rehearsal at the Edwin Hawkins Music and Art Seminar in the early 80's. He was hired by Walter Hawkins, recorded and performed with the Hawkins Family, The Love Center Choir, Tramaine Hawkins, Lynette Hawkins Stevens, and Shirley Miller.

Jonathan's amazing God-given gift opened the door for him to work with other anointed gospel artists and pastors: Donnie McClurkin, Hezekiah Walker, Smokie Norful, Donald Lawrence, LeAndrea Johnson.  Darryl Coley, the late Thomas Whitfield, the late James Cleveland, Andrae Crouch, Dorothy Norwood, Marion Williams, Albertina Walker, Yolanda Adams, Richard Smallwood, The Winans, BeBe & CeCe Winans, the late Rev. James Moore, The Mississippi Mass Choir, The Williams Brothers, Vickie Winans, Shirley Ceasar, The Mighty Clouds of Joy, The Dixie Hummingbirds, The East Coast Regional Mass Choir, Kim Burrell, T.D. Jakes, Kurt Carr, Byron Cage, Joe Pace and The Colorado Mass Choir, Judith McAllister and Carlton Pearson.

Jonathan has shared his musical genius with artists outside of the realm of gospel:  Wildman Steve, Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes, The Stylistics, Little Richard, Betty Wright, Joe Tex, Gwen McRae, Jennifer Holliday, Sheila E., El DeBarge, the late Phyllis Hyman,  Angie Stone, Chaka Khan, and Harry Connick Jr., just to name a few. 

Jonathan's gift unleashed opportunities to appear on The Fox Network from 2016 to 2018 on "The Harry Show" and on the big screen in the "Fighting Temptation" with Beyonce Knowles and Cuba Gooding, Jr. 

He has travelled the world to countries such as Australia, Asia, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Hawaii, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland and Thailand. 

It was in New Zealand that Jonathan was inspired by the Holy Spirit to create a new musical category, "C.A.U.S." (Classified As Universal Sounds). Music that delivers people from their various dilemmas. This music has been marinated into a special batter of God's anointing. Whosoever shall partake of this musical buffet will acquire an appetite that will make one yearn for CAUS eternally.

Jonathan has recorded 8 CD's under his own label, [JoBo Records] which are entitled:  
Quiet Times Vol III; The Healing of the Hymns; Expect the Unexpected; Caus Music; Releasing the Spirit; Quartets Communion; Send Me I'll Go, The Victory is Won, and Going to a Place Called There. He released on DVD, Ushering In The Presence Of God and his most recent project, Anointed Activated Actions.
